FIA-homologated ATL fuel cells — for rally, track and competition

ATL (Aero Tec Laboratories) is the world's leading manufacturer of safety fuel cells for motorsport. Official Formula 1 supplier for almost two decades, present in WRC, DTM, BTCC, Le Mans and 75% of the GT3 market. When it comes to competition fuel cells, ATL is the benchmark used by the best.

ATL fuel cells are designed to collapse in a controlled way under high-energy impacts, absorbing the force and flexing away from the point of impact to prevent fuel spills. All models comply with the specifications FIA FT3-1999, FT3.5-1999 or FT5-1999 and are required by regulation in virtually all rally, track and hill climb competitions in Spain.

Available ATL fuel cell range

Saver Cell — 20 to 170 liters

The most popular model in clubman and regional competition. Versatile, available in multiple capacities and compatible with most rally and track vehicles. The first choice for drivers starting out in competition.

Racell — 10 to 20 liters

Compact fuel cell for vehicles with limited space, autocross, kartcross and small-displacement categories. FIA FT3-1999 homologation in a minimal format.

"D" Cell — 30 to 60 liters

D-shaped design for trunk installations with limited height. Widely used in 2-door vehicles and builds with a roll cage.

Custom and made to measure

Fuel cells designed and made to measure for any application — WRC, GT3, prototypes or special installations where standard models do not fit. Ask about availability and lead time.

Service life and recertification: ATL fuel cells have a service life of 5 years from the manufacturing date shown on the FIA hologram. After that period they can be recertified (+2 years), although for most standard models the cost of recertification exceeds the value of a new fuel cell. See the FAQ section for more details.
