Maximize the performance of your S58 engine with this water-cooled intake manifold
The S58 engine, introduced with the G-Series, has proven to be a true gem. Its tuning potential is enormous.
However, it has some minor weaknesses that should be addressed for both performance and reliability. The S58 uses a water-to-air intercooler, cooled by a front-mounted heat exchanger. This exchanger is responsible for cooling the water circulating through the intercooler.
This intake manifold with integrated intercooler incorporates a Bar & Plate core composed of closely spaced cooling fins, providing highly efficient heat exchange. The core is 5 inches thick, maximizing its effectiveness, and is 50% larger than the original unit. The result is temperatures up to 20°C lower.
