Öhlins is the benchmark suspension manufacturer in world motorsport. Founded in Sweden with a single goal — winning races — all the technology developed in Motocross, Rally, F1, GT and Touring Cars is transferred directly to its road and track-day products. The result is suspension that offers a level of precision, control and comfort that no other manufacturer on the market can match.
The three Öhlins Automotive ranges
ROAD & TRACK
Road · Track
Öhlins' most popular range for road cars with a sporting edge. It features DFV (Dual Flow Valve)technology, a patented dual-flow valve that precisely controls damping forces in the damper speed range most critical for handling, traction and comfort. Compression and rebound are adjusted independently. With a simple turn you can switch from a road setup to a track setup.
✓ Patented DFV technology
✓ Easy adjustment between road and track
✓ Independent compression and rebound
✓ Ideal for sports cars and high-performance cars
ADVANCED TRACK DAY
Track · Maximum performance
Designed for drivers who live for the track. It uses TTX (Twin Tube) technology derived directly from GT and Touring Car racing. Independent compression and rebound adjustment to fine-tune the setup to the limit. Racing-level performance for the most demanding track days.
✓ TTX technology from GT and Touring Car
✓ Independent compression/rebound adjustment
✓ Maximum precision and confidence at the limit
ADVENTURE
SUV · 4x4 · Off-road
For drivers who need control and comfort on all kinds of terrain. Designed for SUVs, 4x4s and expedition vehicles. Two-way adjustable damping, more ground clearance and compatibility with larger tyres.
✓ More ground clearance
✓ 2-way adjustable damping
✓ Stability on dirt tracks, gravel and off-road
DFV technology — what it is and why it matters
Dual Flow Valve — a dual-flow valve patented by Öhlins
DFV technology solves the main compromise of any suspension: the firmer it is for the track, the less comfortable it is on the road. Öhlins' dual-flow valve lets you adjust the damper's mid-speed range independently of the high and low speeds, eliminating that compromise. The result is a suspension that is surprisingly smooth over road imperfections and extremely precise at the dynamic limits.
✓ Independently adjusted compression and rebound
✓ More comfort without losing precision
✓ Featured across the entire Road & Track range
✓ Exclusive patented Öhlins technology

Why is Öhlins better than other suspension brands?
Öhlins is not an aftermarket brand that adapted its products to competition: it is the other way round. It was born in competition — Motocross, Rally, F1, GT — and transfers that technology directly to its road products. Its DFV and TTX technologies are in-house, patented developments that are not found with any other manufacturer on the market.
What is Öhlins DFV technology?
DFV (Dual Flow Valve) is a dual-flow valve patented by Öhlins that lets you adjust the damper's mid-speed range independently. This eliminates the usual compromise between comfort and precision: the suspension is smooth over road imperfections and extremely firm at the dynamic limits. It is featured across the entire Road & Track range.
Can Öhlins Road & Track suspension be used on the road every day?
Yes. The Road & Track range is specifically designed for this use. DFV technology provides road comfort that is surprisingly close to the original suspension, while with a simple adjustment you are ready for the track. It is the ideal choice for a daily driver that also goes to the track occasionally.
What is the difference between Road & Track and Advanced Track Day?
Road & Track uses DFV technology and is optimised for mixed road-track use with maximum versatility. Advanced Track Day uses TTX Twin Tube technology derived from GT and Touring Car racing, with independent compression and rebound adjustment and a higher level of precision intended exclusively for drivers who regularly go to the track.
Do Öhlins suspensions include homologation for the vehicle inspection (ITV)?
Many Öhlins Road & Track kits include TÜV homologation which makes the legalisation process in Spain easier. In any case, any suspension modification that affects the vehicle's ride height is a major modification that must be added to the vehicle's technical file and checked at the ITV. Failing to legalise it may lead the insurer to refuse cover in the event of an accident. Ask us about the models with homologation for your vehicle.
Is Öhlins for competition cars or also for road cars?
Öhlins has products for both worlds. The Road & Track range covers most sports cars and high-performance road cars for mixed use. The Advanced Track Day range and the Motorsport line are aimed at competition. Fitments are available for hundreds of vehicle models.
