VAG 1.6 and 2.0 TDI EA288 evo oil cooler kit

First oil cooler kit on the market, specially designed for the 2.0 TDI engine from 2020 in many VAG vehicles.

Even from the factory, TDI engines struggle with high oil temperatures. If you are then on the road in midsummer, or your TDI is performance-optimized, temperatures of 140 °C are not uncommon. Our oil cooler kit prevents high oil temperatures, ensuring constant oil pressure and optimal oil quality. This has a positive effect on the service life of the 2.0 TDI engine.

Complete kit:

• 13-row high-performance coated oil cooler
• Billet flange for connection to the oil filter flange
• External thermostat (opens at approx. 90–95 °C)
• 3 meters of nylon-sheathed high-pressure lines in Dash 8
• Universal mounting parts

This kit not only impresses with its easy installation, but due to its high-quality workmanship also provides constant oil temperature and oil pressure control. The nylon-sheathed lines are insensitive, weather-resistant and ensure a long service life and optimal flow.

We recommend using our special TDI oil!

Attention:

After installing the kit, noise may occur, which is harmless. The noise resembles a “whirring” sound, which can be caused by the pulsations of the oil through the lines. This whirring can be minimized or eliminated by using silent blocks and decoupling the components.

Installation:

Under Download you will find the installation instructions for the T6 kit. The installation is similar. Lines must be cut to different lengths and a suitable place for the cooler must be found individually.
