The second-generation Nuke Performance fuel surge tank, with a 3.0 litre capacity and three outlets for up to three external fuel pumps. Each pump draws fuel from its own AN-8 outlet, fed by internal pickup pipes that reach the bottom of the tank. It works as a buffer: the return line from the engine goes straight back into the surge tank, which stays full at all times and feeds the pumps even beyond 1,800 hp.
