Yes, it is one of the most noticeable effects. Factory rubber hoses expand under pressure over time, which creates that soft or spongy pedal feeling. By replacing them with Goodridge braided lines, pressure is transmitted directly and consistently, restoring a firm, progressive pedal from the very first millimetre.

Do you provide any certificate for the vehicle inspection (ITV)?

Yes. All Goodridge kits bought on our website include a certificate of conformity that you can present directly at the ITV. This document confirms that the product meets the required safety standards and that its installation does not constitute a modification of the braking system, so no additional paperwork is needed.

Can I choose the colour of the brake lines?

Yes, Goodridge offers a wide range of colours for the outer cover of the line. If you do not specify a colour when ordering, they will be supplied in matt black, which is the standard finish and the closest to the original hose. If you want another colour, let us know in the order notes or contact us before buying.

Are they compatible with the brake fluid I already have?

Yes, Goodridge brake lines are fully compatible with DOT 4 and DOT 5.1 fluids, which are standard on the vast majority of vehicles. Take advantage of the line change to renew the brake fluid as well: it is good practice, as the PTFE tube transmits temperature better and it is best to start with fluid in perfect condition.
