EBC RP-1

The EBC RP-1 brake pad is specially designed for trackday enthusiasts, positioned between the Bluestuff and Orangestuff ranges.

This is an organic pad with aramid fibers and carbon compounds and unlike other pads, it does not contain metallic compounds, which prolongs the life of the disc without reducing its performance.

Coated with a layer of stainless steel prevents heat transfer to the caliper and braking circuit.

Designed for mixed-use track-use vehicles, EBC RP-1™ pad has a moderately high friction level of 0.45 between 100 and 750°C. The more progressive response characteristic of RP-1™ makes it well suited to vehicles with oversized braking systems, where a softer pad material is desirable to allow for greater braking finesse.
