Karting

In this section you will find everything you need to practice karting from the most basic to the most professional level.

The kart driver's equipment

The pilot's equipment must be in accordance with the level that the pilot develops, therefore it is necessary to have in-depth knowledge of all the options that the different manufacturers offer us in order to make a correct choice.

On the market we find both kits without homologation for occasional practice and kits approved according to the different levels of competition.

equipamiento karting

Basically the kart equipment that a driver must wear is:

  • Suits : In karting, the driver is completely unprotected, so the correct choice of suit is essential to minimise damage in the event of collisions or accidents. We work with the main brands in the sector such as Sparco, OMP, Alpinestar Speed with their different product ranges.
  • Gloves : One of the most vulnerable parts in the event of a fall are the hands, so proper protection should be the number one objective. Additionally, they must have a perfect grip and comfort for the pilot.
  • Boots : Having good footwear is essential to avoid slipping of the feet when driving, accelerating and braking. They also serve as protection like gloves and a suit. We work with the main manufacturers in the karting market .
  • Underwear: Mandatory in approved tests, as it allows the fibres of the suit to stick to the skin in the event of a fire.

Recommended equipment for karting:

  • Underhelmet : To be worn under the helmet
  • Fireproof T-shirt : To put on the upper part of our body
  • Fireproof pants: To put on the lower part of our body
  • Fireproof socks : to put on your feet as their name suggests
  • Ribs: Extremely useful for preventing lower back pain due to accumulated tension.
  • Helmets: Vitally important for head protection at all levels.
  • Neck protection: As you know, for some years now, the Hans neck protector has been completely mandatory for practicing this sport. This protector has already saved many lives and will save many more in the future.
  • Rain gear for the rider: This section will be used more or less depending on the area where we are from, but it will be used. As its name indicates, it is rain gear and is only used when it rains (boot covers, rain gloves, rain visors...)
